TEACHING ARTIST – NATIONWIDE
Position Summary
Artists/Individuals that creates & teach their own curriculum, looking to expand your network, and are not sure how and where to start. Let Be Eccentrich MANAGE you!
Teacher Artist Responsibilities:
1. The ability to create & facilitate own curriculum
2. Be able to support the instructional program remotely or in person
3. Detailed knowledge of the workshop/program for which responsible
4. Prepare set-up and break-down of the workshop/program
5. Consult with team members and staff when necessary, to develop alternate enrichment activities and modifications to increase understanding
6. Attend meetings via phone, in person, or Zoom/Teams
7. Complete all paperwork associated with the workshop/program (e.g. summation and participant feedback)
8. Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years’ experience in curriculum creation & teaching experience
Moderate technology skills (especially with Microsoft Office products and Google Suite)
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Highly organized and punctual
Customer focused approach
Degree of flexibility
Ability to work as a team as well as individually
Access to a vehicle
Ability to work remotely if needed
Compensation
Free consulting through Be Eccentrich
Value of received contracts minus 20% managing fee (per contract)

PROGRAM FACILITATOR – SOUTH FLORIDA AREA
Position Summary
Program
facilitators will be hired to facilitate programs and workshops designed by Be
Eccentrich. Work is focused on bridging the gap between art and real-world
applications. It is expected that Program Facilitators will be available during
varying times with 2 weeks prior notice of the workshop/program.
Responsibilities:
1. The ability to create & facilitate own curriculum
2. Organizing and setting
up for each workshop/program session that you are responsible for
3. Meeting with other
facilitator(s) and team members in person, via phone, or Zoom/Teams
4. Completing workshop/program
paperwork, and other duties as required.
Qualifications
2 years of previous work/experience as a facilitator/educator/group moderator
Excellent interpersonal skills including excellent verbal skills
Comfort and effectiveness in dealing with conflict
Must be able to work as an effective team member
Good judgement and problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Flexible schedule as hours will vary
Valid Driver’s license and access to vehicle
Compensation

$25 an hour
